My name is Michael Lashley, a member of the IOG (For Sports and Amenity Turf Professionals) and expert in lawn care. I have been treating lawns for more years than I care to remember. My working career began as a groundsman at Lord’s Cricket Ground in 1987, where I was responsible for maintaining the hallowed turf.
A natural progression into the private sector ensued smoothly, with many of the players requesting my services to treat their domestic lawns. By word of mouth mainly, it wasn’t long before golf clubs, bowls clubs, and tennis clubs also sought my services.
In all honesty, I would love to treat everyone’s lawn and get them all up to scratch, but this is not viable due to the limited hours available and the location, which means I can only work on a local basis.
I have worked for the “Royal Household” at Buckingham Palace as a Lawn Specialist, helping out with the Garden Parties and other work on the lawns, as well as at Clarence House. Additionally, another department is working on the grounds around the palace and the royal Mews. I have also carried out work at Windsor Castle, including laying turf on the lawns.

We cover a vast area, including Greater and Inner London, which many other Lawn Treatment companies do not cover.
Being based in Harpenden, we cover St Albans, Redbourn, Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City. Going further afield we also treat lawns in Watford and surrounding areas which include, Croxley Green, Chipperfield, Kings Langley, and Chorley Wood.
Greater and inner London lawn treatments are carried out in Hampstead, Mill Hill, Islington and Totteridge as well as Chiswick and Ealing and Ruislip and going further out of London to Beaconsfield and Bourne End in Buckinghamshire.
Having worked for two lawn treatment companies, one being Green Thumb, where I was a Branch Manager and also Lawn.co.uk, and of course Lords Cricket Ground where I was a Groundsman for 10 years, I feel that you will not find many Lawn Treatment companies with as much experience as myself and of course Lawn Treatment companies that are run as a Franchise.
